Human assistance

Speak to someone

Choose the help that fits your problem. These services have different roles, conditions and opening hours.

Immediate danger or a medical emergency: call 000. For a pension letter, bill or application, use the relevant service below.

Choose a service by the problem it can help with. Outside websites open in a new tab; return to the Pension Path tab, or close the new tab, to keep this list of help available.

You do not have to manage everything online. Ask about interpreter, relay, phone, paper or in-person assistance. A family helper is not automatically an authorised nominee.

Review or evidence deadline? Follow the official letter. Contacting Pension Path or another helper does not lodge a claim or review, or request a debt-recovery pause.

Contact guidance last updated 5 October 2026. Confirm current hours and access conditions with the linked service; individual source-check dates are listed on the Sources page.

Language or accessible phone help

Ask Services Australia for an interpreter, relay assistance or support using its services. The multilingual line helps with Centrelink matters. Check current opening hours.

A scam or stolen identity information

Contact your bank promptly through its genuine contact details if money or account access is at risk. IDCARE assists with identity and cyber issues. Reporting alone does not stop payments or guarantee recovery.

Bank, insurance, super or adviser complaint

First complain to the financial firm. AFCA can consider eligible complaints within its jurisdiction and time limits. This is separate from challenging a Centrelink decision.

Using devices or finding in-person help

Be Connected provides learning resources and a network helping older Australians with digital skills. Services Australia can explain staff-assisted options. Mobile service centres visit some regional areas.

Tax or personal financial advice

Tax clinics assist eligible people with tax matters; services vary. For personal super or investment recommendations, check an adviser's authorisation and costs. ASIC registration is not an endorsement.

Housing, dental, ambulance or local help

Use your state page for current local application and contact routes. Social housing registration differs from urgent accommodation. Referrals do not guarantee a vacant bed.

Veteran payments and cards

Qualifying veterans and eligible family members can have different DVA payment and card routes. Check the actual payment, card and issuing agency before applying or transferring.

Prepare for the conversation

For a website correction or accessibility problem, contact Pension Path. Do not send claimant or identity documents.

Help where you live

Cards, concessions and services vary across Australia.

Choosing a location is optional.
