About this service
About Pension Path
Clear steps for people approaching pension age, people receiving a pension, and those helping someone else.
What we help you do
Pension Path brings together the practical steps across Australian pension, concession, health, housing and other support pathways. You can find a starting point, understand a letter or change, prepare questions and reach the organisation that can act.
- Get ready and apply for the Age Pension.
- Manage reporting, work, travel and payment issues.
- Check cards, bills, health costs and other help.
- Navigate major life changes.
- Find human assistance.
The service covers all eight Australian states and territories. National payment rules are separate from local concessions and legal arrangements. Choose your state or territory when the location matters.
An independent service
Pension Path is an independent information service operated by Scott Leimroth, ABN 44 565 174 164. Scott operates as an individual sole trader. Pension Path is the name of this information and support-navigation service.
We are not an Australian government agency. Services Australia, DVA and each administering program decide applications and entitlements. We cannot access your government account, lodge a claim for you or provide a personal eligibility decision.
How the guidance works
Guides use official and administering-service sources, with review dates and relevant conditions. Routine source updates use separate automated drafting and source-comparison steps, followed by fixed checks and website tests. If updated guidance cannot be verified, affected information is temporarily replaced with an official-source referral. We explain actions in plain English and link to official applications, free assistance and specialist help. Read our source and update method.
You can read the guides without creating an account or paying to use them. The next-step finder chooses information links; it does not calculate your pension or recommend financial products.
For a care-focused companion, visit Aged Care Path (opens in a new tab). Check its stated scope and the official care source for your circumstances.
Tell us what needs improving
Contact Pension Path about unclear wording, a broken link, an accessibility barrier or a source that has changed. Please leave claimant documents and personal financial details out of the message.
